Hypersoul integrates a multi-dimensional approach to event production with a specialty in cultivating a grass-roots audience.

Backbeat Series
The Backbeat Foundation is a Louisiana non-profit corporation whose mission is to foster support of the rich New Orleans cultural heritage by providing assistance to local musicians through both music programming and grant assistance. The Backbeat Foundation's annual Backbeat Jazz Fest Series is produced by Hypersoul and presents a variety of music reflecting the unique culture and soul of New Orleans' musical traditions. The Series provides an opportunity for guests to have an up-close personal experience with the magic of the music and the mystique of the traditions of New Orleans.

The Backbeat Series is an annual event presented in conjunction with WWOZ over Jazz Fest time. Since 2006, over 100 Jazz Fest evening shows have been presented featuring a majority of New Orleans acts in addition to acts from across the country and the world. Select performances have been broadcast and streamed worldwide via the internet.

Backbeat Presents is a co-production of New York City-based independent concert promoters Creative Entertainment Group and New Orleans-based entertainment company Hypersoul. A portion of the series proceeds will support The Backbeat Foundation.
